Management Training - A Lean Management Case Study

The Lean management case study is based on the product called Ultra fit. The product is used for Tube and Pipe Bending and does all sorts of fabrication. The location of this product resides in Mississauga in Ontario. The entire lean management case study project is basically based on a number of goals.

There are a few numbers of challenges that the manufacturers of the industries face with each growing day. Not only do they worry about the enhancement of the bottom edge, but the survival is the only concern that they have. Speed has become the ultimate currency and profit motivator in this modern age, responsiveness has also gained a remarkable place of such sort.
Until today the company was held to be the traditional manufacturing company, in which the capital used in the production was required to finish the whole route was positioned at different areas of the site.

The ever-lasting changeovers of the machinery on the tube bending tool inclined that the whole process of the department actually produced several components in different batches.

All such hassles actually provoked the need for certain high profile levels of the full- fledged goods inventory to have a safe stock parts as to prevent the deficiencies at the shipping area which would result in the increment of machinery which is required, the capability to see the clients wishes in a short span of time and other such things.

This all was a lean management case study of the product Ultra fit.

In doing the lean management case study for the product Approach;

In the beginning the company manufacturer's aim was to bring effects in their improvements and progress on an internal level. The lean management case study or the company did not come out that well and they could not result the amount of success that they were making efforts for. The whole team worked really hard to get the optimum results out of their lean management case study. So finally the company decided on to take coordination and help from outsiders who might be able to identify the mistakes and shortcomings of the company in a much better way. They called the successors of the lean management case study theory. The companies of the best professionals in this regard came in to train the concepts of lean management and the methodologies to the teams of the company. Training is the key to improving the knowledge of managerial staff and to introducing new and more effective management and production techniques that will contribute to the future performance of the company.

The employees from all different sectors of supervision, engineering, management, maintenance all came in one platform together to look in the matters of the company's management. The processes were recorded in a video camera to see the product's changeover on the bender equipment.

Thus the training brought in the manufacturing cell which was created to include the bending, finishing and the welding of the products. The lean management case study made the set ups faster and consistent in making great utilization from the machines, also it reduced the production scrap.
